Tues 19th March – A Talk by Dave G3ZXX

Tuesday 19th March – Our next Presentation by Dave G3ZXX.

The Talk is entitled “The Dipole, why it’s not always the best”

It looks at ……
how many Amateurs install their MF/HF Dipole and how they think it will perform versus what is actually happening. The several variations on the dipole, for example the Doublet, Windom and the much used and miss-understood ‘G5RV’.
the types of ATU’s in use and the rights and wrongs of their use.
an interesting simple efficient variation which very few people know about ………………
There is no demonstration with this one, just the computer presentation.

Hopefully, that will fit the bill.
