GX3VRE ON THE AIR

At our meeting on the 21st May 24 we installed an Off Centre Fed dipole out on the field using Brian G6HUI’s 10m fibreglass mast. Fortunately band conditions were rather good and a number of members took the opportunity to fire up the IC-7300 and put the Club on the air.

Here we see John G0JYL in mid QSO on the 40m band. In fact John was inundated with calls and had to pass over to another member after an hour.

Another very enjoyable evening where everyone is welcome.
