Club Members have been out and about again visiting both the National Hamfest on the 27th September and today at the National Welsh Radio Rally in Newport, South Wales.

Last evening’s meeting was certainly memorable with Merfyn M0HWA expertly managing the pile up we had on both 20 and 40m bands.

 

Using Jacek’s (M0PLS) 80m loop antenna GX3VRE really made an impact yesterday evening and conditions were great. Merfyn commented “Best Ever” and he certainly wasn’t wrong.

 

This year’s National Hamfest takes place next Friday and Saturday the 27 and 28th September.
